I began my writing career in the halls of junior and senior high completing the various writing  assignments and book reports. Shortly after entering college, my interest in horror fiction really took off after taking a Horror in Literature class, and thus I became a disciple of the late Ronald L. Foresythe.

Being a fan of comic books and 80’s horror movies, I quickly gravitated Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. Later I went on to find the writings of H.P. Lovecraft, Harlan Ellison, Joe R. Lansdale, and Joe Hill and easily found inspiration in the stranger side of horror fiction.

My fiction writing quickly took off into nonfiction as well—mostly in the world of combat sports. Based off of the strength of a jiu jistu blog that I started, I parlayed that into a solid writing career. I have been a contributing writer for Middle Easy, a blog poster for ATH Organics, a contributing writer for local MMA websites, and was a co-author for a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu instructional book.

Looking ahead, I hope to continue to write in all aspects. Through all of those ventures in writing and subsequent adventures in life, I have developed a personal brand that strongly individual and unique. I try to harness all of that here.

Short of that, I live and work in Pittsburgh, PA. When I'm not writing, I’m out there living.
